"Hastings Inn is a quiet, clean small motel that is located in a small town. The rooms are clean and budget friendly. Good place to stay if you are in for a short term. The owner is a really nice guy as well. The pool is nice, though unless it’s summer it’s too cold to use it lol"

"It was a very nice stay except the hot tub was cold. We had a problem with bathroom faucet but it was fixed in a timely manner. Breakfast was delicious. Eggs, sausage links / turkey sausage , biscuits and gravy , pancakes and then the typical breakfast foods . "

"We were able to book online and show up 10 minutes later to check in around 1pm - before regular check-in time. We were taking refuge from the ice/snow storm and they had a room for us. I understand this experience is based on room availability but it was much appreciated! The staff was very helpful in helping us get anything we needed. The hotel was right next to the historic area of town but due to the weather we unfortunately couldn't take advantage."

"It was clean, the only problem was the oven was broken, so they had to use a toaster oven to get some of the meats cooked and of course all this happened at Christmas time "

"What an awesome place! I’m not sure if I’ll ever be back, but maybe I’ve found an excuse to visit now. Frank, the owner, text me first thing in the morning on the day of my arrival to ask if I needed anything. He greeted me upon arrival, showed me to my room and took the time to strike up conversation and talk to me about the things he thought I’d find interesting after he learned a little about my interests. The town itself is adorable, like something out of a hallmark movie. My work for the day was in Pleasanton, but I’d gladly drive the 28 minutes out of my way to stay there again!! If you’re going to visit, this is the place to stay!! Enjoy. "
